Arnold R. Eger, OD, FAAO

Dr. Arnold Eger graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1969. In 1969, he joined his father, Dr. Milton Eger, to continue the practice that has delivered quality eye care to the residents of the Beaver Valley for over 50 years. During his first two years in practice, Dr. Eger attended Duquesne University and graduated with a Masters in Education degree.

Dr. Eger attained Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 1972. In 1976 he earned Diplomate status in the Cornea and Contact Lens section of the Academy. Only some 250 optometrists throughout the world hold this distinction.

His colleagues recognized Dr. Eger as Pennsylvania Optometrist of the Year in 1986. In both 1980 and 2002, he received the George Gottschalk Award from the Pennsylvania Optometric Association for outstanding contributions on behalf of the membership.
